The PM7 plays a critical role in delivering successful bridge projects—from concept through construction—while ensuring technical excellence, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

This position requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a seasoned project manager experienced in leading multi-phase bridge design, rehabilitation, inspection, or major structure projects.

Project Management & Leadership
  • Lead all aspects of bridge-related projects, including design staff, inspection teams, subconsultants, and suppliers to ensure successful completion.
  • Develop and communicate the Project Management Plan, defining scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, risk management strategies, and safety protocols specific to bridge and structural engineering work.
  • Effectively manage scope and technical requirements for complex bridge projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed project schedules, proactively reducing delays by identifying opportunities for concurrent task execution.

  • Continually identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce project costs.
Business Development & Marketing
  • Participate in bridge project opportunity evaluations, consultant selections, and preparation of SOQs and technical proposals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, lead proposal development efforts, and promote KCI's bridge engineering capabilities to existing and prospective clients.
  • Support project closeout by preparing project write-ups, summaries, and photographs for marketing and resumes.
  • Engage in at least one industry or community organization (ASCE, ASHE, ACEC, IABSE, etc.).
