Job Description:

Genesis Medical Group is a multi-specialty practice that strives to provide the best possible care to all patients in a caring and compassionate environment. Genesis is seeking an experienced, Full-Time Medical Courier for our busy medical practice in the Houston, Texas area. This person will travel between our facilities around the Houston area delivering labs, medications, and other items throughout the day. Applicants must be able to prioritize, organize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

MUST HAVE A CLEAR DRIVING RECORD.

1–3 years prior medical courier experience is preferred.

The duties for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Picking up and dropping off specimens between facilities.
  • Delivery of specialty pharmacy medications to patients and facilities, ensuring compliance with handling and confidentiality requirements.
  • Delivery of inter-office mail and packages between facilities.
  • Maintaining proper temperatures for medications and specimens during transport, following all safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proper completion of all required paperwork and documentation for deliveries, including chain-of-custody forms when applicable.
  • Must be capable of handling moderate to heavy lifting when required.

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current, valid Texas driver's license
