Position Summary
:

The Licensed Clinical Training Specialist advances clinical quality through innovative training programs, cultural proficiency, and evidence-based practices. This role equips clinical teams with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to deliver person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based care. The specialist also oversees compliance with regulatory and licensure-related training requirements and develops strategic initiatives to support professional growth across clinical staff.

Pay Range & Benefits:
$58,000-$87,000/year

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate engaging, learner-centered training programs (live, virtual, and asynchronous) that promote clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and cultural responsiveness.
  • Lead clinical training initiatives, including role- or skill-specific programs, licensure-related training, and regulatory oversight (e.g., diagnostic assessment, advanced therapeutic interventions, treatment planning).
  • Administer specialized training programs such as APA continuing education, EMDR, DBT, and Behavioral Health Administration requirements.
  • Provide clinical consultation to teams navigating complex care scenarios and evolving funding or regulatory environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to training needs assessments through surveys, data analysis, and direct engagement with clinical teams.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field required.
  • Active LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent clinical licensure required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing direct care.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience designing and delivering clinical training programs.
  • Experience working with EHR Systems, Learning Management Systems, and eLearning authoring tools.
  • Experience with EMDR or DBT training certifications preferred.

Typical Physical & Mental Demands:
Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone, and other office and/or clinical equipment.

Working Conditions:
Will require occasional evening or weekend hours. Local driving is required.
