Rejuv Medical is currently recruiting a highly motivated full-time LPN to join our growing Ortho and Functional Medicine teams at our Waite Park, MN clinic. The hourly pay range is $26 to $28 based on experience with a $1,000 retention bonus.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.

  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight and height; documents in EMR, insurance forms and super bills.

  • Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies via provider orders.

  • Clean and sterilize instruments and disposes of contaminated supplies.

  • Prepare and administer medications and injectable components as directed by provider.

  • Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, physicians' instructions, and supplement recommendations to patients.

  • Assist physicians include labs, imaging, bracing, taping, strapping, fitting, removing sutures, changing dressing on wounds and other related tasks.

  • Collect blood, urine, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.

  • Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.

  • Contact medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests, referral, or admission.

  • Perform laundry, cleaning, sterilization, organization, and other housekeeping duties.

  • Communicate when supplies are low to ensure proper inventory.

  • Answer inquiries and educates.

  • Complete work ability reports, disability forms and attending physician statements.

  • Communicate with QRCs for appropriate workers' compensation clients as directed by the provider.

  • Attend team meetings and health fairs to promote the company as needed.

  • Prepare daily patient charts timely and accurately.

  • Triage calls effectively and empathetically.

  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • One plus years' experience working in a clinic setting and rooming patients.

  • Proficiency in orthopedic terminology preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and order processing system.

  • Ability to successfully perform blood draws.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, clinics and pharmacies. Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Graduate from an accredited school/college of nursing (LPN).

  • Continuing education and personal growth to maintain all registrations, licensures, and certifications.

  • A.A.S. for LPN or Diploma.

  • Current CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.

  • Supplement background and lab experience preferred.

  • Flexible and adapts to change positively.

  • Present a consistent willingness to learn new skills and positive demeanor with both patients and co-workers.

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a $1,000 retention bonus, three weeks of PTO, two 8-hour flex days, and eight paid holidays.
