Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver, where you'll play a vital role in transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. local work only
What you'll do
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely delivery of materials.
- Load and unload freight, maintaining proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Navigate designated routes for deliveries, adapting to changing conditions as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, and materials transported.
- Collaborate with site managers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
Basic qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks or tractor-trailers.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for various types of freight.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with belly dump
- 25 years or older
- No previous moving violations
