About Us
4th Tavern Lakehouse is a family-owned, full-service upscale-casual restaurant located on scenic Crescent Lake in Waterford, Michigan. We are a sister location to the well-established 5th Tavern chain of restaurants, known for exceptional food, elevated service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our Lakehouse location continues that tradition with a strong, supportive team culture.
We are currently seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team.
Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager supports daily operations, leads front-of-house staff, and ensures a consistently excellent guest experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in scheduling, ordering, kitchen expediting, and front-of-house management within a similar upscale-casual restaurant concept.
This position also provides a clear advancement path into a leading management role, which includes transitioning into a salary-based position with paid time off as you grow within the company.

Responsibilities
- Create and manage weekly employee schedules
- Oversee ordering, inventory controls, and cost management
- Lead, train, and support front-of-house team members
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding staff
- Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and overall operations
- Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures
- Support kitchen expediting as needed
Requirements
- 1–2 years of restaurant management experience (upscale casual preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, team-oriented, and guest-focused
- Weekend availability required
- Experience with Toast POS is a plus
- Kitchen expeditor experience is strongly considered
Work Schedule
- Weekends required
