Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender/Barback to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food and beverage industry, with a strong emphasis on fine dining and nightlife environments. You will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving customers, and supporting the bar operations to ensure a seamless experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Support bartenders with drink preparation and serving during busy periods.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations in all aspects of food handling.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, utilizing Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for processing orders.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or banquets.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bartending or barbacking within a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in fine dining or banquet settings is highly desirable.
  • Must possess strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy atmosphere.
