Job Summary

Provides direction and supervision to maintain the facilities. In the absence of the Facilities Maintenance Manager, supervises general maintenance personnel and assures that all assignments are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Education and/or Experience

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent in related field.
  • Experience supervising a maintenance crew needed.
  • Some knowledge of and the ability to operate tools and machinery.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

  • Has a working knowledge of HVAC, pools and mechanical systems.
  • Ensures that all members, guests and co-workers are treated in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Assists in other departments and performs additional related duties as required.
  • Understands and follows policies and procedures of the department.

Job Tasks/Duties

  • Operates hand tools, light machinery and other equipment to make repairs and/or improvements to the facilities.
  • Assists in the set-up of offices, conference rooms or other locations for special events.
  • Follows a set schedule for routine maintenance to the facilities and mechanical systems.
  • Assures all work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assures all work sites are left in a usable and safe working condition.

Physical Requirement and Work Environment

  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
  • Push, pull or lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions.
  • Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
