Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HOA Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large residential development in the Columbia area.

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and learn industry specific software
  • Have sound customer service, time management and follow-up skills
  • Be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized and dependable

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in property management
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the homeowners' association, ensuring compliance with community rules and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to community operations, including financial documents, meeting minutes, and resident communications.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for community facilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Implement effective conflict management strategies to address disputes among residents or between residents and the association.
  • Utilize property management software (Appfolio) for tracking payments, managing resident information, and facilitating communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections of community properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements.
  • Collaborate with board members to develop budgets, manage finances, and plan for future community needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management or a similar role, preferably within a homeowners' association setting.
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively communicate with residents and vendors.
  • Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Familiarity with property management software (Appfolio) is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
