Bonuses- up to $15k sign on bonus + $5k relocation.

Weekend program differential of $8.00 per hour for hours worked in the weekend program time period. (Friday 7a-Monday 7:30am)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic imaging, including proficiency in CT, mammography, and diagnostic radiology. This role is essential in providing accurate diagnostic evaluations to support patient care and treatment plans. The Diagnostic Technologist will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT scans, mammography, DEXA scans, and general radiology.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in the interpretation of images.
  • Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide support in emergency medicine situations, particularly within a Level I or Level II trauma center environment.
  • Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic technology and best practices.

Experience

  • Proven experience in diagnostic radiology with a focus on CT and mammography.
  • Familiarity with DEXA scanning techniques is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential.
  • Experience working in a Level II trauma center or emergency medicine setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
