Job Description Role and Responsibilities

· Property Tax Consultant covering multiple Texas counties for Commercial, Residential and Agricultural properties.

· Analyze property tax appeal information and prepare evidence for valuation, agricultural and other exemptiondenial protesthearings.

· Research market data and assist in maintaining our internal sales database.

· Work with various county appraisal districts to negotiate client values and appear before the Appraisal Review Board as required.

· File and work arbitrations to a conclusion as necessary.

· Assist clients and their attorneys with lawsuits against appraisal district as required.

· Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential clients with prompt, concise communication.

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor's degree, with concentration in business, real estate, finance, accounting, or economics.

· Property Tax Consultant license, General Certified Appraiser or Registered Professional Appraiser.

· Five years' experience as a Property Tax Consultant, Registered Professional Appraiser, or licensed fee appraiser.

· Effective oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and persuasively.

· Work independently and demonstrate initiative to accomplish goals.

· Strong problem solving and investigative skills.

· Time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Overnight travel is possible.

· Position is NOT a remote position.
