Veterinarian Urgent Care – Arlington Heights, Illinois

A thriving small animal practice is seeking a skilled Veterinarian to join its team in an Urgent Care capacity. This position is ideal for a doctor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing efficient, high-quality care to patients requiring same-day attention. The role focuses exclusively on urgent and non-routine cases, allowing veterinarians to make a meaningful impact without the demands of wellness appointments or extensive surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt and compassionate medical care for canine and feline patients with urgent needs.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients about diagnostics, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Collaborate closely with a capable team of technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Utilize sound medical judgment to manage a varied caseload efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain) in the state of employment.
