Loving and busy parents living on the Upper West Side of NY are in search of a wonderful full-time live-out nanny/housekeeper for their almost 4-year-old daughter. The role is available Monday through Friday, 40 to 50 hours per week, depending on the family's needs and the candidate's desired working hours. They would love someone open to a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from time to time, but this is not a requirement. The family spends the summer in the Hamptons and would love to find someone open to this.
Responsibilities- Daily care for an almost 4-year-old girl
- Provides structure and boundaries, healthy eating, sitting still at the table, and feeding herself
- Create and instill routines, manners, and rules
- Child-related tidying up, including all her areas, and general help in maintaining common areas
- While the child is in school, the candidate will be asked to do laundry, meal prep, empty the dishwasher, and help with household tasks
- Would love to find someone who loves and wants to cook
- Willingness to travel
- The family is looking for a nanny who is fun but will set boundaries and teach manners
- Both parents work extremely demanding jobs, and they need someone dependable
- The successful candidate will be proactive, loving, and mature
- Family is looking for a team player
- Ability and willingness to spend time over the summer in the Hamptons
- Previous experience working with this age group
- The ability to drive and swim is preferred, but not required.
- A valid passport and current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to renew promptly, are expected
- $35-$40 per hour depending on household responsibilities
