Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in an analytical role such as data analytics, business intelligence, management consulting, or technical operations.
  • Experience using SQL and others to analyze datasets with the goal of delivering subjective insights.
  • Experience in planning, GTM or business operation combined with business acumen and a proven connection of data insights to business impact.
  • Experience building data models and automating reports/dashboards in a data visualization tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Experience simplifying technical analysis for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of applying AI/ML concepts (e.g., predictive modeling, classification, lead scoring) to solve business problems.
  • Ability to work separately on project deliverables in a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Passion for YouTube, the creator economy, and the potential of AI to transform business operations.

About The Job
As a Strategy and Operations Business Analyst on this team, you will focus on driving our segmentation operations and analytics. You will play a central role in shaping the future of our partnerships Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy. This position goes beyond traditional reporting and analysis; you will be a key architect in bringing our partner segmentation to life by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered solutions to create a scalable and intelligent system for partner assignments.

You will own the operations that power our partner assignment operations for the YouTube business partnerships organization. Your work will focus on using advanced analytics to answer a critical business question: How can we leverage AI to ensure every partner manager is equipped to serve the right partners at the right time?

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with data science and engineering to integrate Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) models into our partner assignment operations.
  • Design and build scalable, automated assignments processes and data governance to ensure our partner managers are always focused on the right partners to drive sustainable growth.
  • Use advanced SQL and data analysis to proactively identify opportunities in our current segment GTM operations and develop data-driven, actionable recommendations to improve productivity and impact.
  • Act as a critical liaison between our business (e.g., frontline, segment GTM design) and technical (e.g, Data Science, BizTech, Engineering) teams to ensure our solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership Ability to tell a compelling story with data that will drive critical business decisions.
