Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that align with Beacon Mobility's goals and objectives.
• Develop & manage the procurement team and oversee all procurement activities, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and supplier management.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal customers.
• Monitor procurement performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions to optimize procurement processes.
• Implement and maintain procurement-related technology systems, tools, and processes in collaboration with our IT and PMO groups.
• Work with our internal stakeholders to develop and manage procurement budgets and cost savings targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new procurement techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in direct and indirect procurement, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with procurement-related technology systems, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory and ethical procurement requirements.
• Experience in transportation and logistics is important.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
