About the Role
We're seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a background in internal medicine or primary care.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a slower-paced, relationship-based care model and values quality over quantity in patient interactions.

Core Responsibilities
In collaboration with our internal medicine physician, the Family Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Provide comprehensive care, including routine exams, urgent visits, and follow-ups

  • Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as infections, minor injuries, and skin issues

  • Manage chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and lipid disorders

  • Offer both in-person and telehealth consultations

  • Review labs, manage prescriptions, and communicate directly with patients

  • Coordinate care with specialists and assist in referrals

  • Perform basic procedures including EKGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and minor clinical tasks

  • Educate patients on preventive care and wellness strategies

  • Participate in optional home visits or after-hours care, based on availability

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington, D.C.

  • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in internal medicine or primary care

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care
