About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mills and/or lathes to produce high-quality parts to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis equipment)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T specifications
  • Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance on machines

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent training)
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control practices
  • Experience with G-code programming or editing a plus
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and shop math
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and a good team player

Preferred Experience:

  • Haas & Fanuc controls
  • Multi-axis machining or live tooling
  • Aerospace, defense, or firearms industry experience (optional)

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
