Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will be managing staff, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining high standards of food and service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in transactions and adherence to financial policies.
  • Manage food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area to enhance guest experience.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong background in customer service with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Familiarity with bar operations, food management, and cash handling is essential.
  • Experience in staff training and team management is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
