Grant Specialist

Wastyn & Associates seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with exceptional writing and critical thinking skills to join our highly successful consulting team as a Grant Specialist. Wastyn & Associates empowers organizations by providing high-quality, personalized consulting services in grant development, fundraising, strategic planning, and board and leadership education. As a Grant Specialist, you will work directly with clients locally and across the country to strategize and write compelling grant applications to government, foundation, and corporate funders as part of a team of talented professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with nonprofit clients to understand their funding needs, match their needs with potential funders, and translate their ideas into persuasive grant applications.

· Manage multiple grant projects simultaneously, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and delivering high-quality, detailed work.

· Provide exceptional customer service to clients, maintaining regular communication and consistent follow-through.

· Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of client work.

Qualifications:

· Exceptional writing and research skills, with a knack for crafting clear and compelling narratives that integrate powerful stories with community-based data.

· Ability to handle multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.

· Passion for working with nonprofits and contributing to community impact.

· Prior experience in grant writing or nonprofit work is preferred. We will train the candidate who has the right attitude and strong writing skills.
