ARAMIS OSP Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced OSP engineer with good knowledge and hands on experience in ARAMIS. The candidate must have good understanding and knowledge on Telecom roadway plan, ROW, underground utility structures, ability to read the scope and review plans from other drafting systems like AutoCAD, Google earth, KMZ, micro station etc. The job includes but not limited to coordination with customers, understand customer requirements, site survey/walk, design plan and profile.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ability to read, interpret, summarize, and discuss telecom drawings and utility drawings.

· Interprets and analyzes general design provided by engineers.

· Complete 2D drafting design in Aramis while ensuring quality and thoroughness.

· Design fiber cable in Aramis_DT for construction to place, splice, install and maintain network

· Coordinate with customers, understand customer requirements, site survey/walk, design plan and profile.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Micro station, AutoCAD, GIS systems, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel

Ability to use a personal computer for technical designer applications

Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in Aramis- DT

· 4 years Engineering degree or equivalent experience in the corresponding field

· AT&T Aramis design experience is a plus

· Ability to plan and design projects with a good oversight

· Professional understanding of OSP planning, design, and construction methods

· Knowledge of fiber telecommunications networking

· OSP fielding and construction preferred but not required

· Ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
