Senior Software Engineer

We are an innovative AI company on a mission to create "Superhumans" by pairing every person with an AI teammate. Our platform transforms complex business workflows across the distribution economy (e.g., quoting, claims, backlogs) into codifiable, self-running processes. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be a technical leader in developing our core AI workflow platform.

This is a key leadership role where you will drive the platform's technical direction, quality standards, and feature development. You must be comfortable bridging technical implementation with strategic business and client needs.

What you will be doing:

• Lead Platform Design and Development: Drive the design and implementation of our core AI workflow platform, ensuring high standards for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Architect Complex Features: Architect and implement significant new features and capabilities in close collaboration with Product, UI/UX, and Business Development teams.
• Drive Technical Excellence: Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, architectural patterns, system design, and security across the engineering organization.
• Customer Technical Consulting: Act as a technical consultant to our clients, answering complex technical questions and assisting with client-specific feature requests and integrations (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, ERPs).
• Mentorship and Growth: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a strong culture of continuous learning and technical growth.

We are looking for a versatile, product-focused engineer with a track record of leadership and expertise in modern full-stack or backend development.

• 4–6 years of experience as a full-stack or backend engineer.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams or major technical initiatives.
• Proficiency in languages used in our stack, including Python, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.
• Experience designing and scaling complex, reliable systems on cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP).
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interfacing with non-technical stakeholders and external clients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, early-stage environment and comfortably own projects end-to-end.

• This is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York, NY.
