Job title: Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Loving Touch Animal Center is looking for a veterinary technician.

We are a well-established family practice with a large client base specializing in full-service integrative medicine located in Stone Mountain, GA. We are seeking a like-minded veterinary technician who is interested in alternative medicine, providing outstanding patient care, and achieving an excellent work-life balance.

Our mission is to build client relationships and provide quality care for our patients. We enjoy spending time and getting to know our clients/patients. Cases vary from annual exams to internal medicine to neurologic/orthopedic cases. Geriatric medicine is our bread and butter. We are looking for someone who truly understands the quality of life of our patients and their humans.

Our work is only as good as our support staff, so we are seeking someone to join us and become part of our team.

Wanted: A vet tech skilled in supporting the general practice as well as surgery and dentistry.

Duties will include:

-Restraining animals for examination or treatment

-Collecting and recording animal case histories

-Performing diagnostic tests and X-rays

-Preparing animals and instruments for surgery

-Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments

-Providing emergency first aid or general nursing care

-Observing and reporting on the behavior and condition of animals

-Administering anesthesia and assisting during medical procedures

Schedule and compensation are negotiable.

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
