Electrician Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial electrical work, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. This role involves working on different sites residential and commercial, reading blueprints, and performing installations and repairs of electrical systems. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical work is completed in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residents and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Perform low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks as required
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards during all electrical installations and repairs
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician residential or commercial settings
- This is a on call position M-SAT 10AM - 5PM
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Must have own transportation and tools
