Advertising and Office Assistant

Atlantic Sales & Salvage is a small, fast-growing company in East Brunswick, NJ. We are in the waste industry and sell recyling/sanitation equipment. We refurbish and sell trucks, parts, bodies, compactors, baling machines and stationary machines and we are looking for someone who can assist us with basic office tasks and also manage our social media and webpage to help us grow and maintain our advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You should be able to take initiative and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

Duties:

  • Create and manage advertising campaigns for local businesses
  • Manage client relationships and communications with clients
  • Manage Website, send out chain mails, control over selling websites that are used
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials (ads, brochures, flyers, etc.)
  • Research and analyze competition to identify trends and opportunities
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure that all marketing activities are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Create promotional materials for events or other marketing activities
  • Maintain records of all marketing activities including client information, expenses, etc.
  • Other basic duties as assigned by the team (client outreach, project management, etc.)

Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Advertising Manager or similar role in a small business or commercial setting
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite software (especially Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to solve problems by researching information, analyzing problems, and proposing solutions

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19/hr
