Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Product Marketing of Samsung Health will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive awareness, user acquisition, engagement, and retention for Samsung's health app and services. This role will focus on positioning, digital campaigns, co-marketing partnerships, and data-driven marketing initiatives with the goal of establishing Samsung Health as a leading digital health and wellness platform.
Role And Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase the visibility and adoption of Samsung health initiatives
- Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns (i.e., digital, social, influencer marketing, PR, in-app promotions) to drive user growth
- Collaborate with other product categories and contribute to integrated marketing efforts within the MX business
- Lead agency partnerships to deliver the best-in-class creative and flawless execution across multi-channel marketing and collaborate closely with integrated marketing strategies
User Acquisition & Engagement
- Develop user acquisition strategies with product managers through paid and organic channels, including ASO, paid media, event marketing and influencer marketing
- Optimize CRM, push notification, and email marketing to enhance user retention and engagement
- Leverage growth marketing tactics such as referral programs, EPP, and community engagement
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Define and track key KPIs with product managers along with marketing KPIs (i.e., conversion rates, churn, CTA/CTR, etc.)
- Measure and understand campaign effectiveness
- Create market and user insights through campaigns and optimize/shift the strategies to fit the best path forward
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and other subsidiaries (US R&D, Health B2B), sales/account teams and the Korea sales team to ensure marketing alignment with product development
- Collaborate and lead PR, social media and content creation teams to amplify Samsung's health initiatives in the health space with partners, and against competitors
Partnership and Ecosystem Marketing
- Work with Samsung's multiple product categories and its members to develop integrated marketing strategies
- Develop co-marketing initiatives with health and fitness partners, accessories manufacturers, and potentially service providers
- Collaborate with healthcare institutions and corporate wellness programs to expand the platform's reach
Skills And Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing, business administration, communication, digital marketing or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, app marketing, and performance marketing in consumer service field
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Creativity and storytelling
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to navigate in a fast-paced, global organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in marketing, business, or a related fields preferred
- 10+ years years of experience in marketing, app marketing, and performance marketing
- Experience in health tech, wellness, or consumer mobile application is preferred
