Business Analyst

Business Analyst will oversee the management of the ERP system, ensuring its seamless integration, functionality, and alignment with the company's business processes. This role demands a strategic thinker with robust technical and business acumen and a proven track record in managing business applications. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with various departments to optimize the ERP system and other business applications, enhance business operations, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Management: You will become the product owner and expert of our ERP System.
  • ERP Support: Troubleshoot and support all ERP related issues. Manage all ERP support tickets to ensure they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner by our systems consultants and internal team.
  • System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance the ERP system's functionality. Research possible solutions and recommend customizations if necessary.
  • Testing: Responsible for testing all new ERP modifications
  • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to users, ensuring they effectively utilize the ERP system and other business applications, and understand their features and capabilities.
  • High Efficiency: Identify opportunities for business process improvements and leverage the ERP system and other business applications to achieve high operational efficiencies.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the ERP system and other business applications, and support data analysis and reporting needs. Responsible for all data migration for new acquisitions.
  • Automation Tasks: Develop and implement automation solutions using Power Automate and Keyence software to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • SQL Management: Utilize advanced SQL skills for database management, complex queries, and automated reporting.
  • Microsoft Power Platform: Apply advanced skills in Power Query and Power BI for data manipulation, dashboard reporting, and visualization.
  • Project Management: Oversee ERP and business application-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with ERP and business application vendors and consultants, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments of the ERP system and other business applications to identify vulnerabilities and implement measures to protect against security threats.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their support and implementation.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced SQL skills for database management and complex queries.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate and Keyence software.
  • Advanced skills in Power Query and Power BI.
  • Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive platforms.
  • Understanding EDI X12 is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150, $175,000.00 per year
