Job Description

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Site - Weekends in Beloit, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, assisting in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related incidents according to site protocols.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required by site policies.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities in daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a secure environment tailored to the needs of a manufacturing and industrial facility.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
