Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Master Electrician/Supervisor to oversee electrical projects across various construction and renovation sites. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical expertise, including residential and commercial applications, and demonstrate strong leadership abilities to manage teams effectively. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety standards to ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining compliance with NEC regulations.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction sites and renovation projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts and troubleshoot issues.
  • Install, test, and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project timelines, coordinate with other trades, and oversee team members to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or deficiencies.
  • Train and mentor junior electricians on proper procedures, safety protocols, and technical skills.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and compliance records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site work.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, schematics, blueprints reading, and NEC standards.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience programming PLCs and working with automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read technical schematics and schematics related to electrical systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites including OSHA regulations.
  • Valid electrician license or certification as required by local jurisdiction.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
  • Construction site experience with renovation projects preferred. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead significant projects while ensuring safety standards are upheld across all operations.

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
