What You'll Do
Come join our Annuities team as an Internal Wholesaler This role partner's closely with your Regional Vice President to increase annuity sales. You'll be the subject matter expert on annuities to help registered representatives in a meaningful way to impact business.
Activities will include but not limited to:
- Actively contacting agents and other target audiences to educate on our annuity products
- Assist in developing annuity sales ideas and competitive products
- Providing marketing support to better provide awareness of our products
- Be the go-to for agents to help address problems on cases as they arise
- Serve on committees to work on special projects in sales or other related areas

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree or eight years of equivalent experience, and 1+ years related experience in financial services (sales or annuity experience preferred)
- Effective oral and written communication, math, presentation, and negotiation skills required
- Must be able to speak clearly
- Occasional travel may be required for conferences
Licenses and/or exams necessary for this position include:
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams
- Maintaining all applicable licenses is required for continued employment in this position
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$ $98400 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Location
This role can be located remotely within the DC region or in Des Moines. If located within 30 miles of the Des Moines, it is an office hybrid role that has three designated days in the office and two remote days weekly. For candidates 30 miles outside of Des Moines, it will be a fully remote position.
Job Level
Open to hiring at the Sr. Internal Wholesaler level for the right skills and experiences.
