Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Billing Assistance Specialist / Administrative Support professional to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The Billing Assistance Specialist provides primary support for billing and financial operations within a home care setting while also assisting with essential administrative tasks that support daily office operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage confidential information accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

● Verify service hours, authorizations, and billing rates prior to invoicing

Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, rejected claims, and payment issues

● Respond to billing inquiries from clients, families, and payers in a timely and professional manner

● Assist with audits and maintain compliance with billing requirements and HIPAA

standards

● Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails related to billing or office operations Assist with document management, filing, and record organization

● Provide administrative support to management and office staff as needed, Help maintain organized office systems and workflows

● Support basic data entry and reporting tasks

Required Qualifications

● High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Minimum of 2 years of billing or administrative experience,in healthcare or home care

● Proficiency with billing software, Microsoft Office, and general office systems

● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

● Excellent communication and customer service skills

● Familiarity with Medicaid or insurance billing portals

● Bilingual skills are a plus

Pay: $45, $50,000.00 per year
