Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. Your primary focus will be on driving sales through effective communication, product knowledge, and a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
  • Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
  • Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
  • Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance the customer experience.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering calls or taking messages for the store.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
