Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and completing projects that are aligned with the organization's strategy, mission, and goals. This position manages project timeline planning, research and development, internal/external stakeholder engagement, workflow administration, evaluation processes, progress documentation, improvement plans to ensure compliance to time frame, budget, and/or outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, this position will manage and participate in a range of Programs projects at different points of a project's life cycle. This position collaborates with internal stakeholders such as Programs, Compliance and Impact, Advancement, Marketing and Communications, and Ops, as well as external stakeholders such as the City and County of San Francisco, funders, community-based partners, interns/volunteers, and consultants.

- Must be highly organized, able to prioritize and oversee multiple concurrent projects to completion.
- Ability to evaluate, improve and document workflow processes.
- Ownership of pilot projects (or phases of pilot projects) from start to completion, including project logistics, meeting facilitation, research and development, resource determination and allocation, calendaring, developing collaborations, and other administrative requirements.
- Develop and maintain project progress, key performance indicators, timelines, and dashboards using project management tools (i.e. Asana).
- Perform research and development and evaluation processes as necessary to define a project's plan, timeline, or scope and/or to develop process improvement plans for the life cycle of a project and present recommendations to the Chief Programs Officer and/or Senior Directors for decision-making (i.e. Cal Aim/Medi-Cal)
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to assess, define, and align project objectives, agree on project plan and timelines, and collaborate on ongoing progress until completion (i.e. stakeholder meetings, community focus groups, project meetings, site visits, etc.).
- Draft presentation decks, marketing material, etc to highlight project/programs' progress and successes to a variety of audiences (i.e. executive leadership, programs management, direct service staff, community partners, etc.) to continuously raise awareness and align strategy, timeline, and goals.
- Assist in the transition of project implementation to operationalization and sustainment in Programs operations with clear documentation of new systems and processes and make recommendations to Chief Programs Officer and Senior Directors related to process efficiencies, quality assurance, and streamlining operations;
- Development, implement, and analyze project and program evaluation efforts, especially for pilot initiatives, demonstration projects, and intermittent program audits for quality improvement purposes. Collaborate with GLIDE's Compliance and Impact Unit on methodology and consultation as needed for building tools such as survey tools, pre-post assessments, etc.
- Collaborate with GLIDE's Advancement Team and contribute to resource-building and fundraising opportunities related to projects such as grant and partnership applications by participating in program and application planning processes and providing direct content for application.
- Lead and/or support key infrastructure and systems-build that support systems integration and care coordination for stronger client impact (i.e. standardizing case management, internship field placement program in Programs, Program logic models, inter-programs communication, standardized Program staff
- Bachelor's degree in business, social work, public health, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience working in project management, administration or evaluation.
- 3+ years' experience working in a non-profit environment or community-based social service agency that provides services to individuals and families who are unhoused, low income and/or reincarnated.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and project management software (e.g. Asana, SmartSheet, etc.).
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Canva, and CRM software such as Salesforce preferred.
- Proven experience achieving project goals while managing scope, time, quality, resources, and risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong diplomatic presentation to represent the organization to a multitude of internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to extrapolate, synthesize, analyze, and present information meaningfully and accurately.
- Ability to access, analyze, and summarize data and contribute quality insights and analysis to support decision-making and planning.
- Ability to speak effectively about Program's work to a range of constituencies, including staff, clients, community partners, and volunteers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work with diplomacy and tact.

- GLIDE maintains an "open door" policy to the community and its clients, who frequently enter and leave the building.

- Finger dexterity and the ability to use all standard office equipment.
- Sit or stand comfortably, and have the ability to navigate throughout office spaces (via elevator or stairs).
