Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Bridgeport, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at financial institution locations. Your role includes interacting with employees and visitors, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an armed position, and you will uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability while contributing to a secure environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols inside the financial institution and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
- Assist employees, visitors, and clients with security-related inquiries and concerns, providing clear information and guidance as needed.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies or unusual situations at the location.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
