Join Team AMT Now hiring for full-time, 2nd shift Mechanic to serve our Headquarters location in Peoria, Illinois.

Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. AMT is a private, not-for-profit organization operated for community benefit.

The Mechanic team supports the Peoria fleet ambulances and non-ambulance transport vehicles. This is a second shift position.

Job Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance on AMT fleet ambulances and service vehicles
  • Responsible for medium to heavy repairs
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and routine electrical work 12V electronics and automotive equipment
  • General overhaul and repair of engines and transmissions on gas and diesel automobiles and heavy equipment
