About the Opportunity:
Harris Fields Search Partners' client, a leading e-commerce-focused software development company, is seeking talented Software Development Engineers (SDEs) for multiple openings. This is an excellent opportunity for mid-to-senior-level engineers interested in remote work. As an SDE, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative solutions and enhancing customer experiences. Viable applicants must be U.S. citizens and U.S.-based, as no sponsorship is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for e-commerce applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the software development process.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; master's preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, ) and RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitHub Actions).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and technologies.

- Competitive salary range of $105,104 to $166,956 annually, commensurate with experience.
