The Role

We're looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Director to oversee our entire field sales team and drive revenue through expert guidance on closing preset appointments. This is a leadership-focused role where you'll mentor reps, refine closing strategies, and ensure high conversion rates on scheduled homeowner consultations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll shape our sales processes, coach your team to success, and scale our impact in a market ripe for green innovation. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all outside sales personnel, providing hands-on coaching, performance feedback, and professional development to maximize team productivity.
  • Guide the team in closing preset appointments by demonstrating effective consultation techniques, objection handling, and value-based selling tailored to energy efficiency solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that optimize appointment scheduling, follow-up processes, and conversion funnels for attic upgrades and insulation projects.
  • Monitor team metrics (e.g., close rates, appointment volume) and implement improvements to exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with operations and marketing to ensure a steady flow of high-quality preset leads and seamless project transitions.
  • Represent Aero Efficiency at industry events and partner meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate strategic opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • Years of outside sales leadership experience, with a focus on managing field teams in home services, energy efficiency, construction, or HVAC.
  • Proven track record of building and mentoring sales reps to achieve high close rates on preset appointments—ideally in B2C environments.
  • Exceptional coaching and motivational skills; adept at analyzing sales data and driving team accountability.
  • Strong consultative selling expertise, with comfort in homeowner interactions, technical presentations, and incentive navigation.
