Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, no-nonsense Project Manager to oversee our commercial construction and facility maintenance projects from start to finish. In this role, you aren't just sitting behind a desk; you'll be the bridge between our clients, subcontractors, and the job site. You will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, managing budgets, and ensuring the quality of work meets our high standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Review blueprints, site surveys, and client requirements to develop a clear scope of work and timeline.
  • Subcontractor Management: Hire and oversee plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, and general laborers. You'll be responsible for making sure they show up on time and do the job right.
  • Budget Oversight: Keep a close eye on material costs and labor hours to ensure we remain profitable without cutting corners on quality.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for property owners. You'll provide regular updates and handle any change orders or concerns they might have.
  • Site Inspections: Regularly visit job sites to verify progress, ensure safety protocols are being followed, and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Coordinate with local municipalities to ensure all work is permitted correctly and meets current building codes.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5–7 years in commercial construction or facility management. We need someone who has "seen it all" on a job site.
  • Technical Knowledge: You must be able to read and interpret construction drawings, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) plans, and structural specifications.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage subcontractors and vendors. You need to be firm but fair to keep the project moving.
  • Organization: The ability to juggle three or four different projects at various stages of completion without losing track of the details.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills. You need to be able to talk shop with a foreman and then explain a budget variance to a client in the same afternoon.
  • Travel: Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, as this role requires frequent travel to various sites throughout the region.

Pay: $4, $5,400.00 per month
