LHH is seeking a Senior Tax Associate on behalf of a large asset management firm that specializes in managing complex asset portfolios across multiple jurisdictions. This candidate should have a strong background in corporate and partnership tax compliance, international tax regulations, and tax provision preparation. This individual will be a key member of the tax team and will work closely with both internal departments and external service providers to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant tax filings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax forms and filings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including FATCA, FBAR, VAT, GST, and other global reporting requirements.
  • Review domestic and international income tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
  • Prepare tax workpapers, computations, and supporting schedules for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end U.S. and foreign tax provisions.
  • Develop and maintain quarterly and year-end tax estimates and extensions.
  • Track and analyze tax basis of partnerships and LLCs.
  • Respond to tax agency notices and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Review tax elections and coordinate with relevant tax authorities as needed.
  • Support a variety of special projects, including research and analysis on emerging tax issues.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
  • CPA designation or Master of Taxation preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years
    of relevant tax experience, ideally within a corporate tax department, public accounting firm, or asset management environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with tax research tools and tax preparation systems (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, BNA, File-In-Time, or equivalent platforms).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
