Here, you will be a valued member of a larger diverse and inclusive team of experts all invested in one common goal – delivering exceptional care to our patients. Here we grow again  Charlotte Radiology is opening a new freestanding Emergency Department in a joint venture with Atrium Health at the corner of Bruton Smith Blvd and Highway 29 in April 2026  Come join the excitementPOSITION SUMMARY: Performs ultrasound scans to produce consistently high-quality examinations in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations and licensing requirements.  Provides excellent patient care. Quickly and accurately completes all paperwork to include orders, lab work and authorization confirmation.  Consistently monitors and ensures the safety of patients. Shift Details: Sat - Sun / 7a - 7p $10/hour Shift Differential entire shift plus a $5,000 Sign On BonusEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Examines orders and verifies the patient request for accuracy. Addresses any questionable orders with the Radiologist before performing the procedure(s). Operates Ultrasound equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety proceduresCompletes required paperwork/orders, email order request and authorization in a timely and accurate manner. Accurately records patient medical history on designated history form. Correlates test results and other lab data with exam being performedPerforms basic patient care functions and informs appropriate nursing staff if neededOperates radiology computer systemMonitor supplies/stock room/equipment.  Proactively initiates ordering or repairs, as neededCommunicate with pacs/IT for imaging distribution if necessaryEffectively communicates with Radiologist for protocols, as needed  Minimum Qualifications:Education/Licensing/Certification:  Associate Degree/ Junior College in Radiologic TechnologyARDMS, RVT  BLS Experience (years and type):  1-3 years' experience in Ultrasound  Knowledge and Skills:  Must be able to perform procedures in accordance to the CR departmental protocols and standardsMust be up to date with local and federal regulations that apply to their licensure and role Must be able to review the patient history for any pertinent informationMust be able to communicate with the radiologist or referring MD if a protocol needs to be obtained or a test needs to be alteredMust be able to report malfunctioning equipment to the Ultrasound engineerMust be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
