Willows Counseling | Colorado Springs | Hybrid (In-Person & Telehealth)

Willows Counseling is growing We're looking for a full-time Mental Health Counselor to work primarily with children and families. This role is open to both pre-licensed and fully licensed LPCs or LMFTs in Colorado.

About the Opening:

  • 1 position focused on children and families (play therapy, early childhood, caregiver support, support for neurodivergent and/or multiply marginalized clients encouraged)
  • Roles (can) include a mix of telehealth and in-person sessions based in Colorado Springs.

Willows Counseling is a small, values-driven practice providing neurodivergent-informed, trauma-responsive mental health support for Colorado's underserved children and families. We prioritize authentic relationships, equity, and compassion in both our clinical work and our workplace culture.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide individual and/or family therapy within your preferred population
  • Maintain accurate, ethical documentation
  • Participate in weekly supervision and team consultation
  • Collaborate with care teams, schools, and community partners
  • Grow your skills in a setting that respects your voice and clinical style

What We're Looking For:

  • Pre-licensed or fully licensed LPC or LMFT in Colorado
  • Experience or strong interest in neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed work
  • Availability for full-time caseload (approximately 16-25 direct hours/week)
  • Willingness to provide in-person sessions in Colorado Springs
  • A relational, reflective approach to therapy

Even Better If You Have:

  • Experience or training in play therapy, family systems, or trauma work
  • Lived experience connected to neurodivergence, disability, or marginalized identities
  • Comfort working with complex family systems and developmental diversity
  • Spanish language fluency (not required, but welcome)
