As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible to the public, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter disruptions at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary based on the type of government location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or the public while performing patrol duties and maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
