CAREGIVER / BEHAVIORAL TECHNICIAN - Part Time / Full Time, Torrance, CA

Requirements:

  • One-on-One, in-home and in-community caregiving/behavioral support for ADULT male with autism
  • Experience supporting ABA philosophy and techniques
  • Experience caregiving for adults with disabilities and special needs
  • Behavioral support: teaching independent living skills, adhering to daily schedule, managing food/nutrition & meals, assisting with self-management as needed (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
  • Enthusiastic, professional participation in team environment, including willingness to receive constructive feedback from peers, BCBA, management
  • Ability/willing to transport client (your vehicle with current car registration and insurance)
  • Background check
  • Application through agency that contracts with Harbor Regional Center (govt)
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • Willing to complete Crisis Prevention and CPR training

* Ideal candidates MUST be patient, tolerant, empathetic, professional, capable with adults with disabilities, possess good social skills, have a natural desire to help others, and have a clean driving and criminal record.

Certifications appreciated but not required:

RBT, BCaBA, BCBA, CCBT, CBT, DCBT

SCHEDULE:

Part time and full time shifts available

Possible "fill-in" as available to cover other shifts
