About The Role
As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, you will make an impact by Being a a proxy between client and offshore. You will be a valued member in Cognizant's team and work collaboratively with Banking and financial stakeholders.

In This Role You Will

• Develop and maintain robust software applications using Java and JavaScript to meet business requirements in the Cards & Payments domain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions leveraging AWS cloud services.
• Implement best practices in software development to ensure high-quality code and efficient performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of software applications.
• Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Document technical specifications and project requirements for future reference.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers as needed.
• Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Test and validate software solutions to ensure they meet the required standards and functionality.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• Possess strong expertise in AWS Java and JavaScript with a proven track record in software development.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Cards & Payments domain and its specific requirements.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work model.
• Show proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
• Have a solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between
$68K – $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
