This is a full-time position based on a 37.5-hour work week. The starting annual salary is between $
82,778
- $
113,823
based on the level of previous experience. In addition, hired applicants will be eligible for the company's annual variable incentive paid based on company performance.
This role is open to full-time remote work anywhere in the United States, or hybrid onsite in our Lincoln, RI office.
Our normal business hours are 8am – 5pm Eastern Time.
Rotational Off-hours Support Required.

Position Summary
Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer who under general direction will evaluate, design, implement, and monitor the processes, procedures and technologies necessary to support IT security policies and the network security infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, upgrade and maintain the IT network security infrastructure to support business requirements at an optimum level.
- Utilize hardware and software tools to monitor and control the performance, reliability and availability of network security systems. This includes the identification, diagnosis and resolution of information security risks and exposures.
- Coordinate reporting for various internal and external audits.
- Interact with vendors to implement technical solutions and diagnose security issues.
- Interact with appropriate areas to identify and evaluate the impact of business and technology projects on network security systems.
- Give effective mentoring and guidance to other IT development personnel and may assist in developing standards for network security functions.
- Provide coverage and support of the network security environment and acts as technical resource to support the Service Desk, CIS staff, and other corporate entities.
- Conduct research and attend training and/or industry seminars to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies.
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years' experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and experience with security monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience in identifying and mitigating cyber threats.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
