Role & Responsibilities
- Align, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies and test equipment, including component-level analysis.
- Operate standard and specialized laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, environmental stress screening equipment, and computer-controlled systems.
- Perform functional testing and verification of electronic systems to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies and test equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and repair activities in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve testing processes and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures and U.S. export control regulations.
Minimum Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; two-year technical degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on bench technician experience, including component-level troubleshooting; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, engineering drawings, and test procedures.
- Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to support standard Monday–Friday business hours, with overtime on weekdays or weekends as needed to meet production demands. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., maintain good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, and work with small parts and precision tools. The role may involve exposure to chemicals and bonding agents.
