Job Title: Warehouse Helper

Department: National Operations

Reports To: VP Inside Operations

Role Summary: Assist with loading and unloading, and to provide efficient warehousing and storage services, minimize damage of customer property going into and out of storage. Spend more than 60% of their work time in the warehouse. Load and unload pallets and trucks, pad and wrap furniture and fixtures in warehouse, build storage pallets and crates, ensure warehouse facilities are neat and well organized, assist.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Pad and wrap furniture and fixtures in warehouse.
• Build storage pallets and crates.
• Ensure warehouse facilities are neat and well organized.
• Assist warehouse assistant with inventory control.
• Assist the Facilities Department when needed.
• Sweep and maintain warehouse floor.
• Stock packing material.
• Compact used boxes in compactor
• Check off shipments using a Bingo and Inventories.
• Maintain that the parking lot is clean from debris.
• Other tasks as assigned or requested by supervisor / manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience: Woodshop experience helpful.
• Training/Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 40 or more pounds.
• Forklift certification required.
