Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote repeat business.
• Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently while minimizing waste, and accurately record sales using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for change and totals.
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and ensuring cleanliness of the bar area at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor guest behavior in nightclub or hospitality environments to promote safety and responsible serving practices.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar stations for events such as banquets or private functions.
• Uphold all health regulations related to food safety and alcohol service, including responsible beverage service policies.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by engaging with guests during serving hours, promoting specials, and upselling beverages when appropriate.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests quickly and professionally.
• Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures in the food industry.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly within legal guidelines; knowledge of responsible beverage service is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or nightclub shifts.
• Knowledge of brewing processes or beverage trends is advantageous but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
