Your energetic leadership will drive efficiency across all fleet activities while maintaining high standards and keeping the fleet in excellent condition.

Duties

  • Maintaining trucks weekly with light checks, greasing, maintaince, Taking calls from customers and scheduling, and routing drivers.
  • Supervise and support employees involved in fleet management tasks, providing clear guidance, and training.
  • Handling any damage complaints and or defusing situations.
  • Manage registration, licensing, and insurance for fleet vehicles to ensure legal compliance and drivers license.
  • Lead safety initiatives by conducting training sessions on safe driving practices and accident prevention protocols and proper techniques. Doing ride alongs sporadically to observe and teach.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, employee schedules, and incident reports

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fleet management or logistics operations with a strong understanding of truck maintenance
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and motivate staff toward shared goals and keep everyone in a positive environment to ensure a productive work environment.
  • Strong communication skills to help team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly and implement effective solutions
