POSITION SUMMARY

An Enablement Engineer is an Education team resources who partners with Customer Success Managers (CSM) and their customers to develop technical strategies and solutions that will enable customers to maximize the value they gain from the Domo platform. An Enablement Engineer develops and utilizes a deep understanding of the Domo platform to craft customized solutions for our customers' outside-the-box problems. They will then work with the broader Domo Education team to distill solutions and lessons learned into scalable educational resources such as eLearning modules, webinars, videos, and instructor-led training courses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify technical risks to contract renewals and possible areas of expansion for Domo customers;
  • Design solutions for the identified risks and opportunities;
  • Guide the customer through the implementation of the designed solutions;
  • Enable customers to successfully maintain solutions through training and working sessions;
  • Collaborate with the Education team to develop scalable educational resources;
  • Help customers and Domosapiens understand the value of the Domo platform.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ Years' Domo experience;
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience;
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions;
  • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases;
  • Ability to skillfully communicate with both business and technical audiences;
  • Ability to quickly develop expert-level understanding of complex software systems;
  • Ability to design and deliver technical training programs tailored for customer education sessions;
  • Business Intelligence/Visualization and ETL experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Expert-level ability to write and understand SQL (especially, MySQL and Snowflake);
  • ETL design and development experience;
  • Scripting experience (especially Python);
  • Web Development experience (JS, HTML, CSS, etc.).
