QEMS provides contract electronics manufacturing services, specializing in building printed circuit assemblies for a diversified customer base having products in a wide variety of industry and market segments.

Job Summary

As part of the Quality Assurance team, has responsibility for leading the quality assurance activities in the facility. Has responsibility for establishing, following and auditing manufacturing procedures to achieve continuous improvement in process and product quality.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures
  • Maintain the highest standards for quality workmanship, Safety and Housekeeping
  • Coordinate, develop and facilitate the implementation of quality systems and procedures which meet or exceed the minimum requirements of certification. Conducts internal audits of the quality operating system.
  • Develop procedures, visual standards, inspection work instructions, FMEA's and control plans, conducts process capability studies and coordinates APQP on new projects.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining quality levels, working closely with the sales, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and research and development to ensure high quality materials are received for use by Serigraph's customers.
  • Monitor the production quality and performance to ensure acceptable levels. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product non conformities, recommends solutions and verifies implementation of solutions.
  • Conduct regular Quality review meeting with teams and Executive Management
  • Responsible for participating in Lean events.
  • Review and determine disposition of Customer RMA and inventory. Maintain records on proper disposition including containment. Control the further processing and release of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Communicates internally and with customers regarding required corrective action steps.
  • Responsible for ensuring a root cause analysis is performed and corrective action is taken on all areas of opportunity.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related discipline.

Experience:

5 to 10 years of Quality/Manufacturing Engineering experience.

Must have ISO9001 experience, preferred AS9001 or TS16949.

Demonstrated ability to set and achieve targets in areas of cost, production and quality.

Record of continuous improvement through application of world class manufacturing techniques including JIT, teambuilding, and employee involvement.

Skills:

Strong managerial, presentation, and communication skills.

Ability to develop skills and manage potential of subordinates.

Excellent math and spatial reasoning skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
